Golf Ball Drop raises funds for history museum

As many as 400 numbered golf balls will be dropped by a Red Wing Fire Department snorkel truck as part of a fundraiser for the Goodhue County Historical Society at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 16 at Mississippi National Golf Course. The first ball to go into a designated hole will be declared the winner. If no ball goes into the hole, the ball closest to it will be the winner. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
