Goodhue County board approves roof, solar projects
The Goodhue County Board decided to reroof the Public Works building on Pioneer Road in Red Wing. This project was delayed for a couple of years but was budgeted for in the 2019 capital plan.
Because the board approved a contractor during the Tuesday, Feb. 19 meeting, the roof will be the first project on McPhillips Brothers Roofing Co.’s agenda for 2019.
“I’m glad we’re bidding it early and gonna get it done, so that we’re at the beginning of the list,” County Board Chair Brad Anderson said.
