Goodhue County considers suing opioid manufacturers

Goodhue County may sue pharmaceutical companies to recover money spend combatting opioid addiction.
Goodhue County Attorney Stephen Betcher told the County Board at the November 7 meeting that the County Attorney’s Association has been helping to coordinate a review of potential law firms that are interested in bringing suit against the pharmaceutical manufacturers, on behalf of individual counties around the state of Minnesota.
