Habitat restoration to be museum topic

The Goodhue County Historical Society, in conjunction with the Smithsonian Water/Ways exhibit, presents a two-part workshop on habitat restoration for local streambanks and shorelines. The program includes a class on Thursday, Oct. 20, 6 p.m. at the History Center, and a hands-on workshop outdoors on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 9 a.m. People can register by contacting Red Wing Community Education 651-385-4565.
