Haley: Bonding bill still possible

A special session of the Minnesota State Legislature came to an end last month without an agreement on a bonding bill.

This year Lake City has two bonding requests totalling over $1 million – one for a breakwater at Ohuta Park, the other for connecting Hok-Si-La Park to city utilities – that appeared to have a good chance of being funded after appearing in bonding proposals from the senate, the house, and the governor, which together determine which projects get funded.
