Hickory Way project seeks density increase

Plans for a 57-unit apartment building and five six-unit townhouses along Hickory Way were scheduled to go before the Lake City Planning Commission at its Tuesday, Oct. 5, meeting.

Keller-Baartman, the developers of the project, are asking the city to raise the allowed density of the site from 70 units to 87 units to accommodate the project.

A six-unit multi-family building built in 2004 lies at one end of the site.
