High School bands' spring Pops Concert is Thursday
The Lake City High School concert bands will present their annual Pops Concert on Thursday May 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Auditorium.
Featured groups will include the Junior, Cadet, and Senior Bands. The music selection will include features from disco dance music, modern pop legends, and movie music.
Included on the program will be the presentation of the “Stephen A Ritzenthaler Most Inspirational band Student award. This award is given to an outstanding senior instrumentalist in the spirit of longtime time Lake City Band Director Stephen Ritzenthaler.
