Highway project nearly two-thirds complete

It was a short update meeting for the Highway 61 reconstruction project Tuesday, Sept. 1.
Rochester Sand and Gravel Public Information Officer Dick Swenke announced that the project was 65 percent complete overall and that the third and final section of the project was 35 percent complete.
In the previous week, crews finished installing storm sewer. Swenke said sewer lines were being inspected that morning as a precaution.
