Interest high in Hok-Si-La plans

About 60 people, some reportedly from as far as the Twin Cities, attended an open house meeting Jan. 17 on the master plan being developed for Hok-Si-La Park.

The master plan is one of the requirements to receive regional park designation, which would allow the city to seek state funding for park improvements.

The city contracted with HKGI to develop the plan. Kevin Clarke, HKGI’s project manager for the plan, was the main presenter at the meeting.
