International firm goes local
Automation Services, Inc., (ASI) has been manufacturing robotic equipment, municipal water system controls, automated machine controls and conveyor controls and shipping them around the world for 20 years.
But as the industrial economy continues to stagnate, the Lake City company is expanding on a different frontier - local customers.
Two and a half years ago, as industrial equipment demands were high, Automation Services moved into its new home in the former Home Pros building on North 10th Street.
