Jessie Gusa appointed Wabasha County Assessor

Wabasha County Commissioners on Jan. 16 approved the appointment of Jessie Gusa as County Assessor.

Gusa, a former Assessor’s Office employee, succeeds Jeff Wagner, who moved out of the area after serving as Assessor for about three years.

All Minnesota counties are required to have a County Assessor who is appointed by the County Board of Commissioners, based on his or her knowledge and training in the field of property assessment and taxation. Commissioners must fill the office by appointment when a vacancy occurs.
