Judge sides with county attorney in Wabasha County salary dispute

A district court judge has ordered the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners to revisit the salary of Wabasha County Attorney Karrie Kelly.

On May 26 an order was issued by District Court Judge Joseph F. Chase finding the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners “acted in unreasonable disregard of the responsibilities and duties of the office of county attorney, and the county attorney’s experience, qualifications and experience” when it set Kelly’s 2017 salary.
