Kelly filling, creating jobs in Goodhue County

On Tuesday, March 19, the County Board discussed four jobs that Sheriff Marty Kelly wants to either fill or create. The board approved filling two vacancies and adding a bailiff/background investigations position within the Sheriff’s Office.

Kelly’s request for a communications captain was postponed until a later meeting to allow the board and Kelly time to speak with the county’s IT department.

Kelly told commissioners at the March 19 meeting: “one of my biggest priorities was we need a radio systems specialist.”
