Lake City Ambulance service grows

The Lake City Ambulance Service (LCA) expects to hire four additional paramedics in the coming months, a move that the service’s director said is designed to improve service and may help the service become self-sufficient.
The City Council paved the way for the expansion on Jan. 23 by approving a budget amendment for the service in 2019.
