Lake City election to be finalized

With the Lake City City Council set to meet Thursday, Nov. 12, at 5 p.m. to certify the Nov. 3 election results, it appears the results haven’t changed enough since election night to affect who won.
The margin between Mark Nichols, who won reelection, and challenger John Redmond narrowed by one vote to 68.
Katie Novak still led Jason DeVinny by eight votes for the third and final city council seat.
