Lake City must choose: how many lanes?

The state may have funds available to help Lake City carry out a Highway 61 beautification project through the city.
But before plans are explored further, the city must decide if it wants the highway to be a three-lane highway, or a four-lane as it is now.
A three-lane highway configuration would include one lane of through traffic in each direction and a center lane for left turns.
