Lake City public safety building opens Monday

The City of Lake City’s new public safety building is complete and will be opening for business on Monday, July 10.

The city’s Police Department, Ambulance Department, and Emergency Operations Center will be housed in the new building located at 601 North 10th Street in Lake City.

Consisting of 15,000 square feet, the building includes a three-stall apparatus bay, and a fourth stall for use as a sally port and wash bay.

The building has five offices, and three separate shared work spaces, including the front desk.
