Lake City woman charged with attempted murder

A Lake City woman is facing attempted murder and other felony charges after an alleged domestic stabbing on June 22.

Katie Lee Miles, 49, is charged with second degree attempted murder, first degree assault causing great bodily harm, and second degree assault with a dangerous weapon, both felonies. She is also charged with misdemeanor domestic assault.

According to the criminal complaint, Lake City Police responded to a medical emergency call shortly after midnight for a male who had cut his chest while doing dishes.
