Levy up 4 percent at Wabasha County board's final meeting of 2018

The Wabasha County Board of Commissioners met for their last meeting of 2018 on Dec. 26 with all Commissioners present, as well as County Administrator Michael Plante and County Attorney Karrie Kelly.

The final 2019 property tax levy was set at $15,038,299. This was an increase of 4 percent over the 2018 adopted Levy in the amount of $578,396. housing and redevelopment authority is not included. The Levy for 2019 was approved unanimously with no further discussion. Don Springer and Rich Hall moved.
