Library listening session to focus on Legacy Amendment programs

Lake City Public Library will be the site of one of 11 “Library Legacy Listening Sessions” offering the public a chance to provide feedback and suggestions to Southeastern Libraries Cooperative (SELCO) on programs funded by the state Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

The Lake City meeting is Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the library’s temporary location, 1215 N. 7th St.

Arts and Cultural Heritage funds have helped bring several events and activities to Lake City since voters approved the creation of the fund in 2008.
