Library's new home is permanent, yet mobile
After a year and a half in a temporary location, the Lake City Public Library is moving back to its permanent home.
But the new facility in its familiar old downtown location looks completely different on the outside and will have an ever-changing look on the inside.
The library closed its temporary location on North Seventh Street at the end of the day Saturday. The library will be closed for the next two weeks as staff and volunteers set up shop in the new location.
