Marina dock replacement moves forward

The former 300 Dock at the Lake City Marina floated away last weekend.
The buyer began disassembling portions of the dock last week, according to Lake City Marina Administrator Jeff Brand. Once the waters calmed, they floated the pieces out of the harbor and into Lake Pepin. There they were reassembled for the trek downriver.
Brand said he thought most of the dock was bound for Alma, Wis., but some might have gone across the lake to Pepin, Wis.
