Massive West Albany dairy expansion approved

The Wabasha County Board of Commissioners approved a conditional/interim use permit (CUP) for expansion of an existing feedlot owned by Brian and Ashly Yotter in West Albany Township, Lake City. The vote was 3-0, with Brian Goihl abstaining.

This action was taken at their regular meeting on March 5. Commissioner Rich Hall was absent as he recuperates from a serious snow-removal accident. Interim Administrator Carolyn Holmsten and County Attorney Karrie Kelly were present.
