Mayo: Agreement with city may change, not end

Any change in the affiliation agreement between the City of Lake City and Mayo Clinic may be as much as two years away and will not lead to ending the agreement, Mayo officials said this week.

“Mayo Clinic Health System does not plan to end its affiliation agreement with Lake City.  We continue to be committed to our patients and the Lake City community. We see the medical center in Lake City growing and expanding services in the future,” says Tom Witt, M.D., CEO, Mayo Clinic Health System in Cannon Falls, Lake City, Red Wing.
