Mayo Clinic Health System to look at new regional structure

Restructuring has implications for the system's contract with the City of Lake City

Mayo Clinic Health System is moving toward a new regional structure for management of health care in 23 communities in southeastern Minnesota and northern Iowa.

A 15-member regional board will oversee Mayo operations in the region.

The organizational change has implications for Lake City which has a contractual relationship with Mayo in operating the hospital, clinic and nursing home here.
