Mead requests recount in City Council primary

After the Aug. 9 primary election night tally showed him missing the cut for the general election by a single vote, Lake City City Council candidate John Mead has requested a recount.
"It's one vote. It's pretty close," Mead said when reached by phone Friday afternoon.
