Medicine errors rising at Goodhue County jail

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Department has contracted with Advanced Correctional Healthcare for several years.
During that period of time, things have changed dramatically, particularly in the area of medication delivery. At any given time, more than half of the population in the detention center in Red Wing is on some type of medication, and twenty percent of those inmates are on some type of psychotropic drug.
