N. 7th Street reconstruction project begins

A major reconstruction project of North 7th Street in Lake City began Monday, May 1.
“They reclaimed the entire segment (grinding of blacktop and a little subsurface material) and laid it back down,” City of Lake City Public Works Director Scott Jensen said.
The roughly $2.8 million project extends from the intersection of North 7th Street and Monroe Street to the intersection of North 7th Street and Grant Street.
