Navigation season set to close

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, is urging all navigation enthusiasts within the Upper Mississippi River to prepare for the upcoming navigation closure.
Corps officials are asking to have all navigation vessels move south of Lock and Dam 6, near Trempealeau, Wis., no later than midnight Dec. 1. This will require vessels near St. Paul to depart no later than Nov. 30.
