New ambulance better suited to pandemic

A $175,000 CARES Act grant from Wabasha County helped Lake City Ambulance Service replace the oldest truck in its fleet.

The new ambulance, which cost $194,000 and went into service last week, is better suited for safely treating patients with COVID-19, according to Lake City Ambulance Director Sara Rybarczyk.
