New leaf vac truck making rounds

Lake City’s annual leaf pickup service began this week.
Residents can rake their fallen leaves into the gutter to be picked up by the city’s new leaf vac truck. The $209,000 vehicle from MacQueen Equipment arrived this summer. It can be operated by a single person. The truck it replaced required two operators.
The truck will make a complete run of the city weekly for the next several weeks.
