Opposition emerges at Goodhue County Transportation Sales Tax hearing

Approximately 40 people attended the public hearing at the Goodhue County Court House in Red Wing on Tuesday, Sept. 5 to discuss a proposed sales tax that would be used strictly for highway road construction projects.

Public Works Director Greg Isakson explained that state funding for roads has decreased drastically and Goodhue County has many roads that are in need of repair.
