Papa Tronnio's new owner is a familiar face to customers

Pizza has a new daddy in Lake City.

On April 1, Chris Haneca purchased Papa Tronnio’s Pizza from owners Chris and Jean Miller. It’s just the second time the pizzeria has been sold since opening in Lake City in 1981. Both times it was to an employee.

Chris Miller came to Lake City with Jim Tronnier when Tronnier opened the second Papa Tronnio’s in Lake City. The original is still operating in Prescott, Wis.

Miller and his wife, Jean, bought the restaurant in 1992.
