People asked to stay off new grass

Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) Public Engagement Coordinator Cindy Morgan relayed a message from contractor Rochester Sand and Gravel at the Sept. 15 Highway 61 construction update meeting: Keep off the grass.

Newly-seeded grass is growing in many areas along the project, and they are asking people to go around it to allow it to become established.

People who have new grass growing in their boulevards are asked to wait until it is four to six inches high before mowing.
