Responding to public interest in making the temporary traffic signals at the interection of Lyon Avenue and 10th Street permanent, City Administrator Rob Keehn told the city council Monday that the city can request a study, but the final decision will come from the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The signals replaced stop signs this spring as a way to handle the increased traffic once Lakeshore Drive was detoured onto 10th Street for the Highway 61 reconstruction project.
