Peterson family sells opera house building

A landmark building in downtown Lake City has a new owner.
Lake Pepin Development, LLC, purchased the building at 105 W. Center Street from Peterson Opera House, LLC, on Sept. 27, according a state database.
The Peterson family operated several businesses in Lake City in the 20th century, including a hardware store and grocery store in the building.
On the upper level was an opera house.
