Planning commission tables Hickory Way project another time
At a special meeting called to continue deliberations on the Hickory Way apartment project proposal from Keller-Baartman on Jan. 27, the Lake City Planning Commission once again voted to table the issue, and a letter from an attorney was cited as a factor in the decision.
The developer is asking for an amendment to the planned unit development (PUD) for the site that would raise the maximum number of units that could be constructed there.
The commission is tasked with reviewing applications like this one and issuing a non-binding recommendation to the City Council.
