Plows activated after Tuesday snow

A warmer-than-usual autumn gave way to single-digit temperatures Monday. Tuesday brought with it the first snow accumulations of the oncoming winter season. At about 1 p.m. the City of Lake City sent word via CodeRED that plowing would begin on city streets once the snowfall was over.
With winter weather’s arrival, the city is reminding residents about several winter-related items on its website.
