Police seek help locating Lake City man
The Lake City Police Department is asking the public to call 911 if they locate a missing Lake City man described as a vulnerable adult.
John E. Vater, 62, was last seen leaving his group home in Lake City at about 7:30 a.m. May 22 on his way to have breakfast at a restaurant, according to police.
“John has medical concerns and requires medication which he does not have with him,” according to police.
He is considered a missing person, and they are asking anyone who learns his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
