Public safety building requires masks

Members of the public who enter the Lake City public safety building are now required to wear masks.

The Lake City Police Department announced the new policy Monday, July 13, on its Facebook Page.

Due to the barrier between employee and public areas in the building, the public may see people in employee areas without masks.

“If face to face interaction is required, employees will put on a mask before coming out from behind the barrier,” the department said in the post.
