Public Works: North Garden Street work begins May 4

The City of Lake City will begin construction on the North Garden Street Reconstruction Project on May 4. The project spans approximately eight blocks from Monroe Street to Lyon Avenue (U.S. Highway 63) and will continue through the 2027 construction season.
This project includes full reconstruction of the roadway and replacement of underground infrastructure, including watermain, sanitary sewer, storm drainage systems, sidewalks, and accessibility improvements.
