Push grows for year-round rest rooms at Ohuta Park

The City Council will see final plans in a week and a half for a new rest room facility at Ohuta Park to replace the dilapidated beach house.

But some say the new facility should better anticipate future use.

At the council’s last meeting Feb. 8, Council Member Greg Schreck again suggested the city build a rest room facility that can be used year-round.

Last year the council authorized the Lake City Marina to go ahead with a seasonal rest room facility that would be closed during the winter.
