Reimbursement sought for Wabasha County flood damage

Wabasha County’s Board of Commissioners on May 2 declared a state of emergency in response to the conditions resulting from spring flooding.

The Board passed the resolution in order to request reimbursement from the State of Minnesota for damages from the flood event that began on April 11 and has caused significant damage to public property and infrastructure.
