Relay for life marks 30 years with 'Back to the 80s' theme

The program has been set for this year’s Relay For Life of Wabasha County, which begins Friday, Aug. 7, at Patton Park in Lake City. The theme for this year’s Relay is “Back to the 80s” which celebrates that the first Relay was held in 1985 in Tacoma, Wash., by founder Gordy Klatt.

The festivities will start around 4 p.m. on Friday at Patton Park, with the event officially kicking off at 6:30 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. The program is as follows:
