Restroom at marina to wait

A new restroom facility to replace the bathhouse at the Lake City Marina will wait at least a year.
The City Council voted Monday night 4-3 against a plan to build the restroom facility.
A standing-room-only crowd cheered the vote.
Several people took the podium during the open forum at the beginning of Monday night’s council meeting, most of them urging the city to wait and plan for a restroom facility that fits with other plans hoped for in the area.
