Rochester man charged with murder in Wabasha County
A Rochester man is charged with murder following the death of a woman June 18 at Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s in Wabasha.
According to a statement from the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office: “On Wednesday, June 18, at approximately 4:45 p.m., the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a woman that was severely injured and needed medical attention at the West Newton area. The woman, Melissa Hunt, 36 years of age, died at St. Elizabeth’s Health Care.
