On, July 10, the day the new public safety building opened, the Lake City City Council approved a plan to sell the house that formerly housed on-duty ambulance personnel.
The city purchased the three bedroom, one bathroom house at 215 W. Center Street, right next door to City Hall, in 2013. Now it’s ready to sell the house but not the lot, so it’s seeking requests for proposals to move the house to a place where, ideally, it would be a single family home once again.
