School board filing now open
The filing period for the election of four members of the seven-member school board at Lake City Public Schools began Tuesday, July 30 and runs through through Aug. 13.
School board members serve four-year terms and oversee school district operations, which include Bluff View Elementary School, Lincoln High School, and Lake City Community Education.
Members with terms expiring in January are Dawn Balow, Heath Oeltjen, Michelle Larson, and Kevin Pavelka.
