School considers levying for parking lot

The Lake City School Board received information at its March meeting about using its abatement levy authority to pay for the parking lot at Bluff View Elementary School.

Doing so would enable the district to fund security enhancements at Lincoln High School and Bluff View, Supt. Erick Enger told the board.

Funding for the lot is already included in the $12 million Bluff View renovation project headed for completion this year.
