School district receives financial audit

The Lake City School Board heard a presentation on its most recent audit from the firm CliftonLarsonAllen at its Oct. 15 meeting.

The annual audit analyzes the district’s financial health and accounting processes and identifies any weaknesses.

Each year the audit finds that the district lacks sufficient internal control over its financial processes.
